Eddie Negrón for Town Council

Master Sergeant Eddie Negrón is a career military leader, community servant, and lifelong advocate for veterans. A 25-year Army veteran, he served as Master Evaluator and Master Gunner for the Nation's first missile defense brigade—the system designed to protect America from incoming threats.

Eddie's Connection to Grant-Valkaria: In March 2010, while attending the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command Senior Enlisted Leaders Training Conference in Cocoa Beach, Eddie discovered Grant-Valkaria's small-town charm. As a holder of the Senior Army Space Badge, he understood firsthand the critical role the Space Coast plays in America's defense. A decade later, when the opportunity came to build a home here with his wife, he didn't hesitate. Now, he's fighting to protect the community he chose to call home.

Service Continues: Since retiring from the Army in 2012, Eddie has poured his leadership skills back into the community. He volunteers with a local non-profit veterans' motorcycle association, organizing community rides and raising funds to support local veterans and their families. He dedicates his spare time to raising awareness for PTSD, TBI, and other combat-related challenges affecting our veteran community.
